We all come out of the womb a certain way. And we all have first memories. My first first memory on earth was at the beach. Not sure how old I was, but maybe I was four or five. I only know, that I was alone, and was anxious to arrange all the towels, shovels, coolers, ARRANGING everything for order and clarity. You cannot teach a child such things. We all are born a certain way.
Then I as a young architect, I always had a plan, a methodology.
And at Lowes, in the eight years there after my, again, ignominious departure from Wall Street, my Zone manager, or ASM who was, among other things, in charge of tools and hardware, where I worked for a few years said, ‘David, out of the entire store, you get the best marks for organization’. This was not just a few persons. But out of 200, even 300 over all those years, maybe 400…
I took many, many departments which were total clusterF’s and fixed them. Each and every time. Order. Neat, straight. Clean. I was known for it. Closer to ten years than five. Earned my stripes. Organize. Yes I can. Anything.
