I am very proud to be the Director in this post of David’s. The phrase “gentleman and a scholar” is a cliche, but David personifies it to the fullest.
My web site and podcast series, my start-up organization, my leadership abilities, and most importantly me (!) have all grown so much under David’s coaching and mentorship. This is all hard, creative inner work–pushing through one’s own’s barriers–and a superior tutorial in all of the tactics involved of specific project management.
David’s ability to “meet me halfway” wherever I am at that present moment is uncanny. Whether it’s working through a WordPress structure, a business plan, or how to reverse engineer an organizational name–it is amazing how it is fused with the deepest inner work needed to truly get me to that next step.
My work with David has improved my outcomes (and outputs!) in my office job as well as a bi-product. Please e-mail me at: nburk@reliefanalysis.mygbiz.com and I would be delighted to share more

Dear David
You have done a great job. I am very happy. You are so good with words and feelings, and have put so much warmth into all this. Its great to be on Yelp also, which you helped me to establish, besides getting me onto Google Maps.
I just want to say thanks, and in a few words, let you know just how much I appreciate, how good you have been with me. Such as, in the last week or two, how many extra hours you have done work for me and NOT charged me extra for.
Thank you again for all your warm work with me .

Wednesday, 1 July 2015…
You know how it is — you’re an expert in your field and you do solid, quality work for your own clients, but when it comes to applying your knowledge, skills and expertise to a situation or project in your own life, sometimes you just can’t see the forest for the trees…
And so it was with myself and a very personal, very ambitious fund raising project I am undertaking. I knew what I wanted to do, what the goal was and some of the strategies I might use to achieve that outcome, but it was stuck, going round and round in my head, feeling too big to get a handle on and to commit to…
And that’s where David came in – with a clear analysis of the situation, a simple, effective, structured plan which expressed the need, the goals, the logistics required and the implementation steps necessary to get my project out of my head and into real life, moving steadily towards completion….
All this being done while keeping the working relationship one of collaborative partnership. David uses clear, crisp communication and has a respect for the ethics motivating my choices. He understands the resources I have available to me to apply to this work and he has the happy knack of saying just the right thing at just the right time to dissolve a blockage and to overcome a real or imagined challenge…
David has provided invaluable creative input, technical knowledge and much of the actual ‘grunt work’ necessary to establish the credible online presence that is the primary vehicle for my fund raising project. He has also been a strong, consistent, supportive coach, keeping me and the project on track.
David is highly intelligent and has master-level knowledge and skill in multiple professional fields. He combines this expertise with a commitment to ethical relationships and transactions, and an empathic kindness and concern for the wellbeing of those with whom he works.
I would recommend David to potential clients without reservation.

To whom it may concern
I have personally known David Korn for 35+ years. I consider him a dear friend and I expect he feels the same about me.
The most endearing quality I find in David is his mind’s workings – the rare ability to analyze and synthesize ideas and concepts.
This process requires an acute mind with broad and deep intellect. His formal education is as an architect – rigorous and professional – and his information encompasses the humanities through his voracious reading and worldly travel. Also reflected are his life experiences of successes as well as failures. David has been through more serious life experiences and varied job situations than anyone I know.
This has been a long and often times difficult and disappointing journey for David but the result is an individual with tested experience who can balance the abstract with the pragmatic.
I can wholeheartedly recommend him for any job or position he may wish to seek.
Regards,

David Korn is an extraordinary innovator, both creative AND operationally effective — a rare combination.
He’s a very high-energy, relentless analyst, full of original insight yet a master of traditional operating procedures. I would engage his services again in an instant to manage any complex project or to analyze a situation and break it down into manageable components and then rationalize it.
There are few enough people in the world who have both operational chops and creativity, but he’s the even rarer person who can synthesize those and have a high-energy, high-intensity work ethic.less

Since embarking years ago upon a complex Telepresence Amphitheatre project proposed as a dynamic, large scale substitute for our Portland Coliseum, we had great difficulty in conveying our message. We knew what we wanted to do. We knew what we wanted to say. But until David came along, we were never quite able to articulate how all the elements of our endeavor came together, and translate it into a concrete, actionable plan.
David had the wonderful talent of drilling down, while simplifying our business planning. He has been successful gathering a complex matrix’s of business into a plan of execution whereas many other attempts from either our company or consultant have failed. He has maintained his commitment to our goal when many others would have given up.
He is a a genuine humane being in being able to navigate intricate relationships. A very smart guy. A glue guy for any project in need. We will continue in our relationship with David for as long as he permits.

Dear Kevin,
Greetings and salutations from Amsterdam!
I won’t bother introducing myself as David has made introductions already.
It is a very small world as the best man at my wedding was John Donaldson while Eric Tangborn has been a friend for thirty years. How interesting that David is considering to coach chess at Stadium High where two of my best friends graduated. What a hoot!
David and I have been friends for ten years. Although it seems like I’ve known him much longer. Over this time he has been a close confidante even though we are separated by great distances.
Whenever I’m in town (the NW) paying visits to family members, my father, brother and sister all live in Renton, I make it a point to get together with David to spend hours of quality time walking Green Lake or Lake Washington. Besides our obvious common interest in chess, our life experiences are oftentimes in parallel. Our time spent discussing our mutual adventures usually end in great laughter. David is a sincere, hard-working, truth seeker. Simply put, one of the good guys. I’m sure he could make a positive, meaningful impact on the lives of the students at Stadium.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Below are my postal address as well as home phone number as well.
With Kind Regards,
Yasser
