J approached me materially in April about taking their web site, and uplifting it. Truth be told, this was as I said before, a Senior Technical manager for a Fortune 100 Corporation, who had and has the chops to do this well, if they wanted to, but for a variety of reasons thought I could do it better or did not want to do it themself, and thus have me give shape to their message with my usual penchant for structure, organization, and bold vision.
So after we provided a frame to populate their site, with all the complex overlays, we had a place to FURTHER promote their already viral video of 25,000 views on a major subject. Thus, the views went to 40,000+ and clearly paved the way for a second video.
It is one thing to GET an audience, another to grow it or get more similar viewers. Accomplishing it once this is all started is not too difficult, so it is NOT a matter of accomplishing it, but rather, accomplishing it well!
So what happened was, their second video was launched around the world and had 10,000 views in its first two week, I took the key slides and download them from Google Docs, converted them to jpegs, THOSE were populated to wordpress media for future use, created a draft of 287 images to be edited at a future time, created a means of fans and users to be able to download a 22 page facsimile text of the near three hour presentation, and make THAT available on Google docs. I also took the powerpoint, and made that downloadable and ALSO put that on drive (thus, text and images to the Cloud and for download).
Lastly, a major leader in the category interviewed them on a hour long presentation, which was shared on Podbean. Again, a very talented and smart client, but took their content and generated a two page talking point outline, so they could dive into the interview, which is, to this day, the best one in 1.4 years profiling them. A big success.
