What I Do

David Korn Special Projects helps individuals and small business owners start, operate, and refine projects.

Lets face it, if you did NOT have a problem, you would not be looking at me right now. I help entrepreneurs, initiatives, groups, and private individuals organize and structure.

What I do best is organize and plan. But my raison d’être is that I not only help get it going, but operation and implementation.

I help start ups with business formation, planning, budgeting, schedules, staffing/hiring, financials, and market analysis, and putting a sales process into place. That’s a lot to say, but I know all about design, engineering, balanced by financial modeling, and have done C level sales. This can be an event, an initiative, a process, or an assets base with buildings, inventory, capital, or customers.

This may be a worthy effort in chaos, a process become confused or disorganized, or something actually moving, but so fast that it SEEMS controls take too much time. Slower is faster, we can agree! Structure is my bag.

Sometimes you have an effort underway, but need to sharpen the focus. Its not that you lack financials or a sales process, but you need a tuneup. Alternatively, you might not need a fix, but simply cannot do it all, and wish to hand off a discreet segment to a competent person.

You can pay me for eight hours or twelve or twenty, and when the work is done, we are done. Larger projects are on retainer, subject to replenishment according to reasonable terms. The main thing is, you won’t have to spend SO MUCH time with me, as to make the time, money, or energy savings I bring counterproductive.

You might already have enough customers or sales, or have plenty of projects. You also might have ample staff, or assets like capital, property, inventory, intellectual capital, know how, but know you can do better, and need a fresh set of eyes, as to how?

I am a reasonably priced alternative to high end, potentially complicated consultancies.

Not all sales persons understand technical, disciplined processes. And not all engineers know about negotiation, agreements, and marketing. And not all quantitative analysts know what it takes to drive a reach truck or fork lift. And not all events planners understand social media, and not all computer programmers understand embodied, physical energy.

I am a person who keeps his word, who can represent you, carry your efforts, or be at your side on the most difficult of projects or efforts needing the full spectrum of skill sets to pull of difficult or long term, complex projects in MUST NOT FAIL SITUATIONS.

I currently have several good clients and am busy enough. For sure. My goals is simply to add one or two more good clients. Its not a big money issue, its about helping the people who really need me, and this gives me energy and is uplifting!

Call me. Ask me an honest question, and I will give you an honest answer.

Knowledge manager, who can create, plan, furnish, operate, refine, and deliver complex processes involving people, products, results.
