The WOCC was one of the best clubs of its kind in the tri state area, of NY, NJ, Connecticut.
But their President who was while intelligent, a self avowed history major in college turned near gnarly machinist, never quite took full stock of the internet, and realized my offer to build him a CRM led to far more, such as a complete overhaul of their webpage, set up signage, schedules, and major national advertising.
Not everyone needs to get the same email about regular events and participation. so I parsed the newly created roster into regular members, members, visitors, friends.
After structuring the major club championship with national advertising ,I contacted a Pulitzer Prize winning, super strong regional newspaper, about a feature article and had it done in two months.
Eventually, we had some guy show up who ranked nationally, but sang at the Metropolitan Opera. Drove from New York City to suburban New Jersey to be with us. That is success.
